Now, Breakthrough is a film that is based on the book The Impossible, which is based on a real life event of a teenager who fell into an ice lake. It is directed by Roxann Dawson and Grant Nieporte. And it stars Chrissy Metz, Josh Lucas, Topher Grace, Mike Colter, Marcel Ruiz, Sam Trammel, and Dennis Haysbert. And it even has a cameo by a real-life Christian Artist Phil Wickham.
So much to say; and so much to take. Endgame is possibly one of the biggest films to date in the current era that has almost half of the world expecting it since a year ago. It all began with Iron Man(technically The Incredible Hulk, but let’s just ignore that). And a decade later, we have 22 films that make up the Avengers roster.
The tragic Mumbai incident in 2008 has received condemnations from all around the world. As well as causing one of the highest death of the year, it is also the event that soured the relationships of the two neighbouring countries. And with it, plenty of other films have been made about it, with Hotel Mumbai being the fifth film.
This Hellboy is essentially a remake of the 2004 and 2008 Hellboy film series and it has lots of catching up to do to best these two predecessors. With Guillermo del Toro out of the frame, and replaced by Neil Marshall, would this film be able to surpass them? I mean, he is well known for directing several episodes of Game of Thrones, so I assume that it’s gonna be gore or filled with plenty of deaths.
Man, it’s been almost 7 decades since the original film appeared in theatre. And now it comes to us in the form of a 3D CGI elephant! I must admit that there are some nostalgia involved, as I did watch the film during my childhood. There are a few scenes that captivated me with its song and tale of love between mother and son.
